With the purchase of Minty or Sparkleworks you would receive a free bonus pony. The bonus pony came with no combs, brushes, or charms and could only be purchased at KB Toys and WalMart stores.
Promo Butterscotch was only avalible at Walmart.

Promo Minty also has red in her cutie mark instead of the earlier pink color of the first release. Promo Sparkleworks has minor color differences.
