Some ceramic ponies were released over seas. These ponies, in general, tend to have pits in the ceramic and are also much more brightly colored than the US versions. They even had a few exclusive ponies that don't seem to have been a part of the US line: Majesty and Buttons.

Hamilton Collection - Friendship And Magic
(2005 - 2006?)

In 2005 The Hamilton Collection released a new like of pony Figurines inspired by the original My Little Pony line. Each pony has brushable hair and a shiny holographic symbol. So far each pony in the series has been $19.95 plus $ 4.99 shipping and handling.
The line, although supposed to be continued with a rumored Sunbeam pony, was suddenly ended sometime in 2005/2006. Those who had joined the program were not informed on its ending, the ceramic ponies just stopped being sent out and the listing was removed from the Hamilton Collection website.
