The Best Friends ponies each had their own unique scent. They also did not come with the traditional brush instead they came with another item. Finally the magnet which had become a staple in the G3 pony line was not used in these ponies. They came instead with a small hole on the bottom of their foot where the magnet used to be.

	Butter Pop is pink with yellow and red hair. Her eyes are light green with a yellow streak and a pink star. Her cutie mark is a striped red bag of popcorn. She smells like popcorn. Comes with a red soda that can attach to the pony's leg See Backcard Story
	Pretty Pop is yellow with blue eyes that have a light blue streak in them and a pink heart. Her mane is blue, green, white, and pink while her tail is all pink. Her cutie mark is a pink gumball machine filled with colored gumballs. She is scented like bubble gum. Comes with a colored gumball-shaped barrette See Backcard Story
	Party Cake is blue with yellow, pink, and orange hair. Her eyes are wine purple with a light pink streak and a pink star. Her cutie mark is a yellow birthday cake with a pink candle. She is scented like vanilla. Comes with a pink party hat See Backcard Story
	Strawberry Surprise is white with light green eyes that have a yellow streak in them and a pink dot. Her mane is red, pink, and light pink while her tail is all pink. Her cutie mark is a pink ice cream in a yellow cone, next to several pink strawberries. She is scented like strawberries. Comes with a pink ice cream cone that can attach to a pony's leg See Backcard Story

(Winter 2007)

	Chocolate Chipper is chocolate scented. She is a purple pony with pink and purple hair. Her eyes are blue with a light blue streak and a pink heart. Her cutie mark is three brown chocolate chip cookies and two pink hearts. She comes with a white chefs hat. See Backcard Story
	Paradise Island is coconut scented. She is a white pony with pink, purple, pale orange, and yellow hair. Her tail is only pink and purple. Her cutie mark is a yellow pineapple, a brown coconut, and a pink tropical flower. She comes with a pink tropical flower hair clip. See Backcard Story
	Soda Float is root beer scented. She is a pink pony with magenta hair that has tinsel in it. Her cutie mark is a pink root bear float surrounded by white twinkles. She has blue eyes with a lighter blue streak and a tiny pink heart. She comes with a root beer that can clip to a ponies leg. See Backcard Story
