The Retro ponies were reissued 1980's ponies that were recast and sold in 2007. This was done in celebration of the My Little Pony 25th Anniversary!

Original 1983 My Little Pony Collection
(Summer 2007, Aug.)

As part of the My Little Pony 25 year celebration the Original six ponies which first came to stores in 1983 were reissued in two speacil collections. These ponies look almost like the originals, but they are brighter in color.

Blue Bell, Butterscotch, Cotton Candy

Blue Bell is a blue pony with purple hair and blue stars as her symbol.

Butterscotch is a gold pony with golden hair ans orange butterflies as her symbol.

Cotton Candy is the pink pony with pink hair and white dots as her symbol.

Also included are three combs and a tiny tail ribbon, one for each pony.

Snuzzle, Blossom, Minty

Snuzzle is a grey pony with pink hair and pink hearts as her symbol.

Blossom is a purple pony with purple hair and white flowers as her symbol.

Minty is a green pony with white hair and green clover as her symbol.

Also included are three combs, one for each pony.

Rainbow Pony: 25th Anniversary 3-Packs - Wave 2

Each of these ponies comes with a shooting star brush that has a rainbow sticker on it, a tiny tail ribbon, and a flat sticker made to look like the original puffy stickers.

These ponies differ from their original releases by having tiny eyes and over sized symbols. They have even caused some controversy as their rainbow hair colors are in a different order. The original order was pink, yellow, green, and blue but the new Retro Ponies have an order of pink, yellow, blue, and green. The blue and the green hair have switched places.

Set1: Moonstone, Starshine, and Parasol

Parasol is light peach with pink, yellow, blue, and green hair. She has four glittery pink umbrellas with blue sticks.

Starshine is a white pegasus pony with blue eyes. Her symbol is a golden starburst with dots.

Moonstone has pink eyes. Her body is a light blue color. Her symbol is made up of blue and silver planets, one of them Saturn-shaped.

Set 2: Windy, Skydancer, and Sunlight

Windy has blue eyes and a light purple body color. Her symbol is purple glittery wind.

Skydancer is yellow with pink eyes. Her symbol is blue sparkly flying birds.

Sunlight has a light blue body color and purple eyes. Her symbol is a silver sun peeking out from behind a golden cloud.
