American International Toy Fair
The American International Toy Fair is held annually in New York around winter time. It draws the biggest toy companies from around the world. The Toy Fair is a chance for toy makers to show off and promote their latest products. Unfortunately only toy manufacturers, retailers, importers, licensers, representatives, and select press can attend.
Hasbro is always on hand to reveal their new My Little Pony toyline and some times they will have a special gift for the press.

The Press Kit comes with Pinkie Pie, Cotton Candy and a cardboard cake box that opens in three stages to reveal two My Little Pony figures and the CD-ROM promotional materials in the final pop-up feature. Pinkie Pie is apparently more pink and has larger symbols than her store counterpart. |

This exclusive pin was not a part of the above Press Kit, but it was distributed to invited guests at the Hasbro Toy Fair 2008 showroom. It was not available for purchase at stores. The Silver Anniversary pin measures about 1" across and features a chrome finish, with the words "My Little Pony 25th Anniversary" across the bottom banner. You could also get this pin later this year at the 2008 MY Little Pony Fair in Rhode Island. |
