Brambleberry's Note: I too have seen these Starsong sets at my local Walmart. They are in the Christmas section with all of the gift makeup gift boxes. ALSO! They had My Little Pony bath foam in this section. It was a cute little two pack of bath foam with new school Rainbow Dash on the packaging.
I saw no sign of the Walmart Exclusive The Gumball House with bonus accessories, but if they had had it it would have been in the Christmas section.

There is a new Puzzle with bonus Ponyville Pinkie Pie set that has been spotted on Amazon.com. The set that was first released features the older Ponyville style Pinkie Pie while the new set, just released, features the newer redesigned Ponyville Pinkie Pie. Both of these set have been spotted at Target, Kohls, Walmart and Amazon.com.

Admin Note: In my area the prices are different with Walmart having the best price on ponies and Toys R Us being the most expensive. BTW cute thing my sis noticed... at Walmart Sweetie Belle was actually a dollar cheaper than the other ponies (perhaps due to her size) but all of the other stores (again in my area) had her listed for the same price as the other ponies.

"Pony Find Alert! Walgreens has ponies from 2007 for about $6.50 each. And CVS has ponies from 2006 - 2008 for about $10.00 each. Rite Aid does not sell ponies so don't bother looking."

Big Lots Ponies

Finally! I have images of the four ponies still being sold at Big Lots. I went out and I was able to find the set... and the store still had a bunch of these on the shelves.

A reissued version of RC Scootaloo On The Go has been spotted at Walmart. It is the same as the set released last year with an RC Scooter, but it comes with a redesigned Scootaloo.

The weather suddenly got REALLY nice outside so I had to do outdoorsy yardwork while I had the chance. But, this week it has been rainy so... I'm back! I have been working on taking bigger images of the G3 ponies and also the much talked about Pose guide (it will still be a while until these items are finished though... -,-' there are alot of ponies...)

But anyway, I haven't been checking my e-mails either... so there is ALOT of news! Thanks to all you pony finders out there for taking the time to send in your information... and sorry it took me SO LONG to post it! One must garden before it gets too hot or too wet, LOL!

Oh, and if you are having trouble keeping up with the new ponies the 2009 checklist has been updated today. It should have all of the current - and future ponies - that I know of listed.

Admin reply ~ The Make up ponies and the names down the leg ponies were out in stores, it seemed pretty briefly in 2008-2009, but they seem to have almost completely disappeared now. You can still find these guys at stores who sell toys more slowly. In my area (Greater Cincinnati) - Kmart, Biggs, Kroger, and Johnny's Toys still have a few of these ponies left. Also make sure to peek behind the new ponies at Walmart and Toys R Us as sometimes older stock is hidden behind the newer toys.
The names down the leg ponies with 'Meet the Ponies' DVD have completely disappeared - at least in my area. I was lucky to find one. ^_^

Question 1: I have not heard of a Li-Ti-Da Hair and Spa bonus set... yet. I can't say for sure whether there will be one or not. We'll just have to keep our eyes peeled.
Question 2: I'm guessing the next ponies that will be released to stores... will be the bigheaded ponies. That seems to be the direction that Hasbro has decided to take the MLP line in... However, they do seem to be making more Collector series ponies so maybe these will make it to stores first?
I too would love to see scans on the new pamphlet... if they have made one yet. ^^

i got the target excl. ponyville pack! its really cute! the thing i noticed is this: starsong's body is a lighter purple,like an easter purple and her hairstyle is two ponytails on the side. i also noticed that the pic of scootaloo is an orangish yellow and show that figure w/ a side ponytail that is pink,orange,and yellow.odd...the actual figure isn't any of those colors;its the usual scootaloo colors.overall its a great find.
i also got the toyr us exclusive:little rainbow dash's room w/ a bonus baby cherilee and blanket and baby hat.great find! i noticed some subtile things: the hat is the same as baby sweetie belle's;along w/ a place for the horn! and that not all,yes there's more!the bonus baby pony is different from the set w/ the bathtub.bathtub baby pony has yellow ribbon the side of her head and light blue bloomers.toys r us bonus baby has a different colored ribbon and bloomers!!!!! amazing,isn't it? the bonus one has yellow bloomers and a sea green ribbon on the side of the head. and....i just comparted these two cuties....the bonus baby pony has a little bit lighter body!

Question ANSWER!
Cheerilee is in a pose different from her single pack release and poor Toola Roola did not have a single pack release. Or even a 2009 Easter Egg Hunt release. She was left out of both sets this time. ^_^

As to this question, "does anyone know if the art ponies will be in stores or online only?" I guess they will be like the black and blue art pony of last year. They will be released to stores, but may be difficult to find. Last year I only saw the art pony, in stores, once and that was at a comic book/collector's store. So, you might want to buy them online. But, I could be wrong. ^_^

Ponyville Easter Egg news

Alright, I have an update about this year's set of Ponyville Easter Eggs. This set is different than last years. The little pony figures do not have a color streak on their legs... and in fact they look like normal Ponyvilles with no special features. I think Cheerilee might be in a new pose... maybe some of these others are as well, but I can't tell for sure.
Anyway I just thought I would let y'all know. :)

If you live in the UK you can find small packages of 'Dolly Mix' with a free My Little Pony toy inside! These are 'Core Seven' pony toys but they are really small, about Ponyville sized.
You can collect: Rainbow Dash, Cheerilee, Scootaloo, Starsong, Pinkie Pie, Toola Roola, Sweetie Belle.

k.m. thorn has some pony observations to share, apparently there are subtle differences between two different releases of 'Hairstyles in the Snap with Rainbow Dash and Toola Roola':

Also, the Easter Ponies Cheerilee and Rainbow Dash are beginning to appear in stores. Also, I spotted new Ponyville Easter Eggs like the ones sold at Target last year. They were being sold at Kroger, but they may still contain last year's Ponyville Easter Ponies... or not. I didn't buy the set so I'm not sure what was really in it.

Thanks ponies4kate for pointing it out. Now I just need to know where/when it was sold, anyone have any clues to that? It was originally spotted in Sep. 2008 so it might have been a pre-Christmas sale release. OR it may only have been sold overseas, as the packageing seems to have French on it.
