I picked up the new pony at toys r us. The new booklet inside shows the newborn cuties- little rainbow dash's room, bubble time with cheerilee, starsong, scootaloo, feeding time with pinkie pie and strolling along with sweetie belle and there so cute. I have spotted some new products while out Christmas shopping! At Johnny's Toys (local Cincinnati toy store) they have the new names on their legs ponies with a bonus 'Meet the Ponies' DVD.

Also the McDonald's ponies are beginning to show up at some McDonald's restaurants... just none that I have been to!

And Fizzy sent in a MLPArena link that shows some of the 'Newborn Cuties' toyline that will be out in force in 2009.

momtoMLPlover sent in a bunch of images of the new Christmas ornaments that she and her 5 year old found at Garden Ridge. She also says that, "the ornaments were 3.99 - 4.99 for the balloon glass one and they are half off of that price through tomorrow. (prolly expired by now, becuase I was slow checking e-mail, SORRY!) they also have the mini ornaments that walmart and toys rus have carried"

Nearly forgot to mention... at Toys R Us the other day I saw two new pony ornaments. One was Pinkie Pie and the other was Rainbow Dash (I think!). I didn't have my camera with me and I didn't buy the ornaments...yet, but I wanted to let you know they were out there. I have personally seen these at Toys R Us and Walmart.

Also there is a ornament three pack at Big Lots. It comes with a big pony ornament and two smaller ponies. The set comes with sitting Cherry Blossom (Cheerilee) with a snowman (large ornament), Starswirl (small), and Rainbow Dash (small). There may be other sets but I didn't have time to hunt around. I was about to pass out from all of the cinnamon scented candles... @_@ stinky!

New Mcdonalds Pony toy rumor

Ponykitty found a MLPArena link where some one when ordering from Mcdonalds got a My Little Pony Happy Meal bag by mistake. It was for a My Little Pony and Hotel for Dogs (new movie) promotion. So we should be seeing new Mcdonald's My Little Pony Happy Meal toys some time in December 2008 - January 2009 because that is when the new 'Hotel for Dogs' movie comes out in theaters.

'Name down the leg' Ponies with DVD's

The 'core seven' gals with their names written down their legs, have been spotted by Fizzy at some Walmart stores with an extra DVD in their packaging. The DVD is the exactly the same for all the ponies. The DVD contains all of the webisodes from mylittlepony.com along with the new My Little Pony theme.

In 2007 this charm bracelet was advertised in magazines and what all... but up to now, as far as I have heard, no one has actually received any of the braclet or any of the charms. The Bradford Exchange keeps pushing the date back on when thie item will actually ship. Well, now I hear from Fizzy, that she got a letter saying that her order was finally accepted. So... I doubt you can still order this item, but it never hurts to ask if you are interested and if you already ordered maybe you will be getting your bracelet soon.

Charity Folks is auctioning off a bunch of the new Pony Project ponies, designers, star, and contest winners. You can also see the new Pony Project Ponies at the Pony Project website.

Also, the Pony Project itself will be:

September 18 - the private party/RSVP only - opening of the Pony Project - New York City's Chelsea Art Museum

And the Ponies themselves will be on auction at Charity Folks until Oct. 2

I had some one ask a while ago where you could find Pony Charms, well, thanks to Fizzy I have the answer. Apparently there is a new online store Riordan Collectables that makes silver pony charms and jewelery.

K. M. Thorn spotted new ponies up on the Hasbro Toy Shop Website. The have the 'ponies name trails down thei leg ponies' Pinkie Pie, Starsong, and Sweetie Belle.

And Rainbow Flutter says that KB Toys have the retro Rainbow ponies for sale - $4.98 for a limited time!

"I hope my information was helpful to someone... I was a tad upset that my 3-year-old and I had bought all of these adorable Ponyville houses together -- all of which have mailboxes -- but we couldn't find a mail truck anywhere! That's what prompted my frustrated call to Hasbro. It took about a week for the product team representative to call me back, but they did actually call, which I was pleased about. My research indicates that the new "Deliver Goodies" set appears to be almost exactly the same as the old one, with the exception of having changed out the ponies that come with the set. Whereas the old set featured Skywishes & Tink-a-Too, the new set features Cheerilee and Sweetie Belle (see attached picture)."

Also news, the Black and Blue 'Art Pony' has been showing up in some stores now. So, keep your eyes peeled for it.

Jen writes in to say, "Just in case anyone else has been looking for the Ponyville "Deliver Goodies" set (the Ponyville mail truck pack with 2 ponies) I received a call from Hasbro today stating that the set is to be reissued for Fall 2008."

Now I'm not sure if this "Deliver Goodies" set is the same as the one that had already been released to stores or if they are reissueing an older set with new 'core 7' ponies in it. The first release set originally came with Skywishes and Tink-A-Tink-A-Too, so we'll have to wait to see what/whom is in this new set.

The new wave is apparently making its way to stores now.

So keep your eyes peeled for those and the new 2008 Christmas ornaments, which are also now being spotted in stores.

Rainbow flutter says that she found the new Make Up ponies at K-mart for about $7 a piece. Also her KB Toys had the Retro pony sets for $7.98. So if you are looking for either of these sets, it sounds like K-mart or KB Toys is a good place to look for them!

Some new items have been spotted on Entertainment Earth. Two new Ponyville sets have been sighted and it looks like several old Ponyville sets are going to be reissued with 'core 7' ponies in them instead of the ponies they originally came with.

Firefly782 sent in the link to the Japanese Amazon.com website where the images of these new ponies were featured. A translation of the website says that these ponies are from the 'My Little Pony Favorite Friends Series - Make Up' Ponies set.
Also found on this site are a Basic Plush Pinkie Pie and a Pinkie Pie Tissue Case that apparently came out in 2004.

I found this news article from The News Observer.com. It talks about the plans of the 2008 pony toyline, more specifically about the "MY LITTLE PONY Project: 25 Ponies for 25 Years" a year long theme that begins on Feb. 18th.

Here are the highlights:

"As part of the initiative, the MY LITTLE PONY brand will invite international pop culture influentials such as celebrities, fashion designers, brands, artists, collectors, and kids to design a collection of 25 one-of-a-kind MY LITTLE PONY 18-inch figures."

"Hasbro will officially launch the program on Monday, February 18th with the unveiling of the first two custom ponies: a "Silver" pony from Hasbro and TWINKLE HOPE, a pony designed for Give Kids The World Village. Hot Chocolate Café

k.m. thorn found this image of the new Ponyville Hot Chocolate Cafe on Entertainment Earth.

Also, UKStyler says that the Blackpool ponies from their light display are going on sale today. These are giant light up ponies that had been on display during the Blackpool Illuminations, Lancashire, UK.

These ponies first went on display in 1988 and ran for 18 years. They were retired in 2005. This was a full tableau that consisted originally of 13 ponies, Megan and Sundance, Spike, Baby Tiddlywinks on a rocker, Baby Cuddles in her Baby Buggy (pram), and a full backdrop.

Supposedly they are only selling the spares and they are keeping 2 of each model, so the ponies may return.

Spotted by Firefly346 from the UK is this new Easter Egg and pony set. The set comes with Sunshine Parade (new Toola Roola) that has a rainbow color streak that runs down her leg and a chocolate Easter Egg.
