My Little Pony - 1983

 

My Little Pony
Two old favorites return this year, but this time with concave feet instead of their old flat feet. They are Blossom and Cotton Candy from 1982.
This set of ponies each came with a round puffy sticker with their picture on it, a flower shaped brush, and a ribbon.

Blossom was still a light purple pony with a purple mane, tail and eyes. Her symbol was a grouping of white flowers. This time she had concave feet instead of flat feet.

Cotton Candy was re-released with concave feet. She was all pink with purple eyes and her symbol was a grouping of odd shaped dots.

Applejack is a orange pony with yellow hair. Her eyes are green. Her symbol is a grouping of apples. She is unique in that she is one of only two adult ponies in the USA to have freckles.

Bow Tie is a blue pony with pink hair. Her symbol is a grouping of pink bows. Her eyes are purple. She is unique in that she is one of only two adult ponies in the USA to have freckles.

Seashell is a purple pony with green hair. Her eyes are also green. Her symbol is a light green grouping of seashells. She is unique being only one of two ponies ever made in a sitting position! She also has a blaze of white on her forehead.

Bubbles has a yellow body color, light blue hair and eyes. Her symbol is a group of blue and green bubbles. She has a blaze of white on her forehead. She is unique being only one of two ponies ever made in a sitting position!

Unicorn & Pegasus
This is the first ever set of unicorns and Pegasus! These ponies came with shooting star brushes, a ribbon, and a puffy sticker with their picture on it. These ponies were unique from all those before them for their symbols were made out of glitter. These symbols are very pretty but can rub off very easily. The Unicorns of this series also had a streak of different color in their manes.

Sunbeam is a pony with a light blue body and blue eyes. Her hair is white but her mane also has a streak of yellow in it. Her symbol is a sparkly sun.

Glory is a white unicorn with purple hair and a blue streak in her mane. She has blue eyes. The symbol she wears is a purple and silver shooting star.

Firefly is a pink bodied Pegasus with blue hair and eyes. Her two blue lightning bolts are her symbol.

Moondancer has red hair with a purple streak in her mane. Her eyes are blue and her body is white. Her symbol is a silver moon surrounded by red stars.

Rainbow Ponies
The Rainbow Ponies were ponies whose hair was colored like the rainbow with pink, yellow, green, and blue. They all sported glittery symbols even the earth ponies. Each pony came with a puffy sticker with their picture on it, a ribbon, and a shooting star brush with a picture of a rainbow on it.

Parasol is a pink/tan pony with rainbow hair in the pink, yellow, green, and blue pattern. She has four blue and pink umbrellas on her rump. She has purple eyes.

Sea Ponies
The Sea Ponies were the first ever ponies made for play in the bathtub. They had a weight in their tails so that only their head bobbed out of the water. Each Sea Pony came with a shell with a suction cup on the back so they could be stuck to the side of the tub. Along with the shell they also came with a puffy sticker, a ribbon, and shell-shaped comb and brush.

Wavedancer has a pink body, blue hair, and blue tips on her fins. Her eyes are purple. She comes with a mauve (pink/purple) shell.
