The Shimmer Ponies are the first ponies that have colored tinsel in their manes instead of the opalescent tinsel that was used for the other ponies.

This set of ponies I found late in 2004 but
were really meant for the 2005 pony line.

Waterfire is light blue with bright orange hair and red tinsel. Her eyes are dark blue with a blue and light blue streak. This pony in unique in that her eyes also sport a yellow and orange flame! Her cutie mark is a yellow and orange flame over two light blue waves. |

Island Rainbow is orange with pink hair and pink tinsel. Her eyes are blue with a light blue streak and a yellow star. Her hoof heart is pink. Her cutie mark is an island with a palm tree and a rainbow. |

Fizzy Pop is purple with red hair and red tinsel. Her eyes are blue with a lighter blue streak and a pink star. Her symbol is a drink with two straws and a yellow heart on both sides. Her hoof heart is pink. |

Shell-Belle is pink with light green hair and green tinsel. Her eyes are bright blue with a light blue streak and a white dot. She has a yellow hoof heart. Her cutie mark is a green shell, next to a yellow fan-shaped shell, all in front of a white piece of coral. |

Strawberry Reef is pink with dark pink hair and tinsel. Her
hoof hear is blue. The cutie mark she wears is a pink strawberry with
flowers in front of some white coral. Blue air bubbles float on each
side. Her eyes are green with a lighter green streak and a pink star. |

Flippity Flop is yellow with pink hair and pink tinsel. Her
eyes are green with a light blue streak and a pink star. Her cutie
mark is a pair of pink flip flops surrounded by water drops. |
