Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation: Giant Star Shimmer
(2004)

In 2004 Hasbro made a special little pony in order to support the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving seriously-ill children and their families. The Purchase of this little pony would benefit the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation as one dollar of your money went to the organization.

On Saturday, November 13, 2004, hundreds of children were treated to a My Little Pony movie celebration hosted for them at Loews Cineplex Theaters in Los Angeles, New York City and Chicago. The kids were walked down a 'pink' carpet and then enjoyed a showing of the new movie, "Dancing in the Clouds". They were also able to join in at the post-screening party with face-painting and storytelling. Each child received a My Little Pony gift bag courtesy of Harper Collins and American Greetings. In addition 400 "Dancing in the Clouds" videos were sent to nationwide hospitals that are serviced by the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation.

Giant Star Shimmer

Like her small counterpart, this giant plush version was made to benefit the Starlight Children's Foundation. She was never available for purchase, instead she decorated the event halls where the Pink carpet events were being held.

Rosey Posey
(2005)

Rosey Posey was given out for the 2005 My Little Pony Friendship Ball to benefit the Center for Children with Special Needs at Hasbro Children's Hospital. This is an annual Gala to raise money for that cause. This year was 'My Little Pony' themed. Large stuffed MLPs were placed around the room, there was a MLP ice sculpture, and each person who attended got a free Rosey Posey pony. The tickets for the Ball cost:
General tickets: $175, Dessert tickets: $50, and Benefactor tickets: $500.

Rosey Posey is pink with purple, yellow, and blue hair. She has a purple hoof heart. Her symbol is two blue dolphins inside a purple flower shaped area. The words that surround the dolphins says, 'Hasbro Children's Hospital Caring for Kids.'

Card Story:

Meet Rosey Posey, a pony with a cheerful smile and a warm heart for all the friends of Hasbro Children's Hospital.
In Celebration of the 2005 My Little Pony Friendship Ball, please take Rosey Posey home with our compliments and gratitude for making this year's ball a great success!

Pony Project
(Summer 2005)

The Pony Project was an art showing in New York sponsored by Hasbro and Thunderdog Studios. Up-and-coming female artists from around the world were given a large blank white pony and allowed to customize that pony any way they wanted. The finished projects were then exhibited at the Milk Gallery on Oct. 21, 2005 to Oct. 25, 2005. Nearly 50 artists took part in this exhibit.

Each of the ponies were then offered for sale in the Gallery and online. From each pony that was sold 50% of the proceeds went to the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, a nonprofit organization uniting a family of camps dedicated to serving children with serious illnesses and life-threatening conditions.

Several special release ponies were made in honor of the Pony Project in New York.

San Diego Comic-Con Pony is white with red hair. Her symbol is a pink heart with 'the pony project' written next to it in alternating colors of black and pink. Her eyes are left unpainted except for a single pink heart. She came with a white comb, a MLP pamphlet, and a 'Pony Project' leaflet.

This very unusual little pony was offered for sale at Hasbro's booth during the San Diego Comic-Con. It was limited to 2000 pieces and sold for $10 each. She was a promotion for an upcoming event in New York.

Frisco
(2006)

They were numbered 1-150 and sold out online really fast.
