My Little Pony - UK

1985

1985 was the first official year for Hasbro UK. The toyline after this year would continue to differ from its North American roots.

Groom 'n' Style

The UK Groom 'n' Style set came with the ponies featured in the North American 1984 'My Little Pony' set, but there were some differences. Bow Tie and Applejack were both sold in new poses, with their heads held straight ahead. Also Bow Tie, Lickety-split, and Cherries Jubilee all had curly hair.

Confetti is a white pony with red and green confetti bits on her rump. Her eyes are purple. She was sold in this pose as part of the 'Wedding Bells' playset that came with wedding ring, white veil, white dress, and four white shoes.
